Seropusly the best money I have spent on a Windows OS app in a while. Also, the app is dynamic on image placement and will automatically adjust border size in response to your photo placement. Saving a project as a jpg is super simple. The photos are simply carried over in the new template and you can easily remove them if needed. There are a ton of templates and you can change templates without having to reinsert photos. The pictures are completely repositionable within each frame, you can adjust zoom, and easily change border color. I created my first collage in than two minutes, simply dragging and dropping my photos directly from Microsoft Photos. Incredibly simple while giving you all the needed features and leaving out fluff. While the program is not overkill as many other apps try to be, giving you every minute feature, this app simply hits the mark dead on. I have been using it for about an hours making 4 collages. I did about 3 hours of research and selected PicFrame.

3 : Windows PC PicFrame - Windows 7/8 / 8.1 / 10. I specifically needed a Windows OS solution. PicFrame helps you combine multiple photos into amazing looking frames and share them with. There are a great many apps for Windows OS and IOS out there. I was desperate for a solution to quickly make photo collages.
I used the default borders and the photos were straight from my iPhone via iPhoto. This is a PicFrame collage I made with the desktop version of the app.

Since you can import photos from iPhoto or other image editing software, you won’t need the image editing features but I do wish they’d add the labels to the Mac version. There are no image editing options or labels in the desktop version of the app. What I like even better is the Mac version of the app that let’s you drag a photo from iPhoto, right into a frame and then export at various sizes for blogs, Flickr, Facebook, etc. Its a pretty powerful app for under a $1.

Filter by these if you want a narrower list of alternatives or looking for a specific functionality of PicFrame. PicFrame alternatives are mainly Photo Editors but may also be Image Editors or Raw Photo Processors. Other great apps like PicFrame are Snapseed, Fotor, PicMonkey and Litrato. You can round corners, add filters and change the width and color or pattern of the borders too. The best alternative is Pixlr, which is free. Its quite flexible with an assortment of grids to choose from and then you can pull the frames to reshape them as needed. The app costs $0.99 and works on iPhone or iPad. PicFrame on the Mac is just as easy to use, select a frame, drag and drop your photos in, tweak the border size, give the photos rounded corners, add a color or. I discovered PicFrame for iOS awhile back which is a great way to do a grid of photos to post on Instagram, Flickr or Facebook. I thought I would share a favorite app today.
